For the first time at GNSH, we are proud to present the "Mellow Tones" a 7 - 8 Piece Swing Band, on Friday night to start the weekend.
The band will mirror the sounds of primarily Duke Ellington, but also a selection of Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Flecther Henderson, Artie Shaw and other great musicians from the swing era.
We first heard them at the amazing " Now you has Jazz Festival". The JiveSwing team had coats on ready to go home.
As soon as they started playing, we put our shoes back on to have just one quick dance, before we hit the road home. We were still dancing hard, till the bitter end, as we all screamed for more.. It was like listening to the Duke himself..
As we write we simply cannot wait until Friday night.. Bring it on.. !!
